I am a political affairs and advocacy professional with a longstanding interest in constitutional law, electoral affairs, public policy, and human rights. Originally from County Monaghan and now based in Dublin, I graduated from Dublin City University with a degree in Economics, Politics and Law in 2025.

Professionally, I work in the charity sector with Parkinson’s Ireland, where I am the Advocacy and Operations Coordinator. Through this role, I work to support people living with Parkinson’s and their families, while contributing to the organisation’s broader mission of improving services, raising awareness, and influencing public policy.

My previous experience include working under the 33rd Dáil, where I served as both a Legislative Assistant and Administrative Assistant to Members of the Oireachtas. Through these roles, I gained first-hand experience of parliamentary procedure, legislative scrutiny, constituency representation, and the day-to-day operation of Ireland’s political institutions.

I have also contributed to a number of national policy and stakeholder bodies. I served as a member of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) National Stakeholder Forum Committee, established by the Department of the Environment to support the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in Ireland. In addition, I participated in the Department of Education’s Advisory Group on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and the Interdepartmental Steering Group on ESD, which brought together stakeholders from the Departments of Education, Further and Higher Education, and Children to advance sustainability in Irish education.

Alongside my professional work, I have a deep interest in Irish politics, constitutional affairs, and political history. I enjoy researching the institutions of the State, electoral systems, democratic participation, and the relationship between law and public life. Through my writing and research, I aim to make complex political and legal issues more accessible and to encourage informed public discussion.

I am also the author of an upcoming publication, Thundering Disgrace: The Assassination of a British Ambassador, the Murder of Garda Michael Clerkin, and a Presidential Resignation, 50 Years On, scheduled for publication in Autumn 2026. The book examines one of the most dramatic constitutional and political episodes in modern Irish history, while also exploring the life and legacy of Garda Michael Clerkin, a family relation who was murdered by the IRA in October 1976.

This website serves as a platform for my work, research, writing, and ongoing interest in Irish public affairs, constitutional development, and political history.
